Don Mann, general manager of the Port of Newport, was elected president of the Pacific Northwest Waterways Association (PNWA) on Oct. 11, 2007 during the PNWA Annual Meeting in Vancouver, Wash. Mann will head a 40-member board of directors representing navigational interests in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Northern California and Alaska.
